It would be nice if I could cut and paste messages in Chinese characters to send via MPE. When I try that by pasting in to a "New Message" in MPE which I can do using Chinese (it's readable as Chinese there) and then hit send, it then just goes to my friends inbox as ??????????.
When I try to read a message sent to me it also shows as ?????? in the detailed MPE Inbox, although I can see the characters in the short line version above, I cant copy from there though. I can export the message as an XML doc to my desktop and read it there. I have tried changing my phone input language to Chinese before pasting but it still sends as ????????. Any ideas of a work around or is too hard ? Thx for a great program otherwise.

In the next versions the SMS-Textfields are fully unicode-compatible.

Thx FJ ! I have been running 1.7.2 . Do you mean 1.7.4 or a later version ?
I will keep a look out in the mean time thanks again for your program and support.

The change comes with 1.7.5

But update to 1.7.4 i think there was also a little fix in this task.
