cannot connect to my phone to dics. phone memory visable

Just got a k800i and it will not connect with my phone to dics or file manager in file or phone mode it keeps saying insertmemoery or connect via usb. Any ideas i have tried to reinstall software even loaded my old w800 phone to disc. my w800 works fine it fines the memory stick first time??? help need music on my phone.
