Hi there,
Is there a solution for editing notes issue?. I don't even have the NOTES option in the menu.
I Have mpe 1.4.5, connecting with a SE z520.

You can enable Notes, but its not supported by many models. Look here (and use a translator)

If it works on your phone correct (editing, reading and creating new notes) Then say it and i will enable this feature for your modell in the next version.

My general.ini file is EMPTY...is it normal?

I think you have the wrong file. The general.ini is in the database-folder, not in the programfolder.

Database-folder?....I just have 1 file general.ini in the whole PC and it is in C:\program files\MyPhoneExplorer....and it is empty

Your database folder is
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\MyPhoneExplorer

or like shown in File / Options / Advanced (added by \MyPhoneExplorer)

Are other functions working?
Otherwise try to reinstall MyPhoneExplorer. There must be a filled general.ini.

1st of all, thx for your help.

Found it, tried it, didn't work: The NOTES item now appears on the menu, but you can't see notes that are currently on the phone, and if you create one in MPE & sync, it just disappears.

The new betaversion is able to send new notes to every model. But take your phone out of the general.ini before.

updated to the beta, and notes not working on k800.

It works thats sure. maybe you edited the general.ini, pull the K800 out of "ForceNotes".

It works with k800i !

Is it planned to sync notes ? Am I right there is no way by now to edit the notes with MPE ?

k800 is not in the forcenotes section of general.ini

no notes in the organiser tab, just calendar and alarms. is it somewhere else?

@dave: You can find the button in the Toolbar of the organizer - called "New note..."

ah ok, swish. but there's no way to view the notes that are on the phone? (it's not a complaint or even a wish - i'm just trying to understand, lol)

It depends on the buggy sync-interface from SE - exact enought ?
