Hi All,
I use MPE1.7.3 to sync with outlook 2003 on windowsxp, symbian G900.
I newer has problems with W880 and before with others phones, but now not all phones fields in contact are synchronized.
The problem is to point phones fields, because on phone I have "mobile (h)" and another "mobile (w)". Only "Mobile(W)" (work) is synchronized with outlook's contact's "mobile phone" field.
And "Other phone" in outlook was not synchronized with phone, because there no "other phone" field.
Question: Is possible to customize which contact fields in outlook synchronize with to? Is there another way to have all phones fields have synchronized?

There is no way to customze the fields. Its also not planned.
Correct linked fields are very important - especially if there are more devices to sync. cause of this there is no way to customize the fields.

Thank You for info. Maybe workaroud is to move "other phone" field to another in outlook, which is sychronized with phone.
I also noted, that on phone sometimes was 3 mobile phone fields: mobile, mobile(h) and mobile(w) and 3 phone fields. And some contact has fax. Maybe I can add any number phone fields...
But MPE has only 5 phone fields: Mobile(H), mobile(W), Home, Work, Fax.
I found this limitation on MPE. I was unsatisfied with synchronization on PC Suite, because some records was duplicated every time after synchronization and when Calendar interval - it give errors (maybe some clue with regional settings, I has this 2-3 years ago, was resolved, but repeated in new version).
Maybe I need to try Activesync... I dont like these huge programs, I like slim and smart MPE!

Its always a compromise between full functionality and limited features but stable. For MPE i think the stability and easy handling should be the highest priority. The reason why MPE supports only 5 fields for Symbians is easy: On sync there is no diffrence between "Mobile (W)" and "Mobile" - the phone does deliver both numbers with the same flag, besides this the G900 is not limited to 6 numbers, you can set more numbers with the same type. The point is that for the Sync-Jobs its not a good idea to create workarounds (fe. customize fieldlinks). They will end in problems (as you said duplicated numbers and so on)

I made little research ant checked phones on outlook, MPE and Phone. Conclusion:
1. Home2, Work2, Other phones on outlook was not synced.
2. Mobile(H) on phone is on MPE by not synced with outlook.
I agree about stability and only 5 fields on MPE, but want to have mobile(H) synced. There unfortunately is lack equal field in outlook.
