Hi there, I had a problem with PC today and MyPhoneExplorer started in German. I couldn't find a way to change the language so uninstalled the program and reinstalled which worked fine. Trouble is my database of archived text messages was gone. I did have a backup but not a very recent one. I thought I may be able to recover the database with some recovery software but I have no idea what file name /extension I should be looking for. Could anyone shine some light on this for me please

You can edit the language in the settings.

While uninstalling MyPhoneExplorer asks if you want delete saved userdata. Did you click "Yes" ?

probably did which is unusual for me as I'm very careful normally. Even if I had do you happen to know the name of the file please?

Oh and as far as the language setting I did check the settings and it did state English but there were no other languages to choose from therefore I reasonably assumed the language dbase file was corrupt

I'm a dummy it's SMSArchive.dat now to try and recover the deleted file that should be fun lol
