Disable GMail Calendar Sync of outlook items

I am a user of MyPhoneExplorer for syncing all of my phone stuff to my PC, using an Android Samsung GT-i500 with Android 2.1.

Gmail is used for all my personal stuff (mail, calendar, contacts...), but I also use outlook for my work related items. I cannot connect to my exchange server at work with my phone (IT policy) but am able to sync the outlook calendar via my USB cable using MyPhoneExplorer.

However, once I synced, I do not want to have my outlook calendar synced with my gmail account (because of security concerns). I was hoping MyPhoneExplorer could sync the outlook items in a new account type ('private' or so, then I can disable the gmail syncing for this) but that is apparently not possible. Any other way to manage this?

Found a solution using another 3rd party app.

I still think it would be a good feature for MyPhoneExplorer to sync using a separate account. This would ensure that all your private & work items are clearly synced separately. And in addition all of them are visible on the phone. Very Happy
