progamme will not open

I have been using my phone explorer for a few months all was working ok until today when I decided to download the latest version ,I deleted the old version and installed the new , now the programme will not open , when I click on the icon to open the programme a box with various phones opens and disappears then nothing, I tried deleting the new version and installing the old version same problem, anyone any ideas

OK, follow this instructions:
• Start-Run-%appdata%-OK
• the explorer should open and there should be a folde called "MyPhoneExplorer"
• rename this folder to "MyPhoneExplorer_backup" and try it again.
• if it still does not work: Did you have full admin-access while installing ? Did you restart the computer after updating ?
• if you can answer both questions with YES then its maybe a known bug in the windows-installer which MyPhoneExplorer breaks down:
