Google Apps does not synchronize anymore

Hi FJ,

I have been using your great organizer for years now and even made a $$ donation since I think that's what every happy user should do.

For the last couple of days, my Google Apps account does not synchronize anymore contacts and calendar items. The error message states:
Loading entries from Google failed.
999 HttpSendRequest failed; Systemerror: 12029
I assume that Google has changed something because it used to work very well up to this week. I would appreciate if you could check that issue and provide us with a solution as soon as possible.

Please note that Google Apps just works as Gmail. The only difference that I am aware off is that you log in with your own domain name (ie me@mydomain.com) but the configuration of calendars is identical. Don't hesitate to communicate with me should you need further information.

Your problem has nothing to do with Google, please take a look at this Thread

Thank you for the prompt feedback. You were right and let me just explain for the benefit of other users.

My personal firewall software is Trend Micro Internet Security which supports firewall profiles. Last week I went to a cafe and logged on the Internet on an open wireless network, thus switching my firewall profile to "wireless network" instead of "office network". Back at the office I just forgot to switch back. Et voilà!

I owe you another donation now. :)
