I send SMS using MPE and it was sent succesfully though when Sent Items message was viewed at the phone there are no names recorded on it.

What can be wrong?

I am using p990i too

I did sync my address book and I always do that once MPE is closed.
Viewing sent message via MPE is no problem but when P990i is disconnected and when I view the summary I can see the recipients' name but when I view a particular sent message, no names. Anyway, I can live with this problem, I just thought some of you have a solution for this.

For your reference, my p990i firmware is: R7A001CXC162037

It don't think it has something to do with your phone. MyPhoneExplorer can only read out the recipients-number of a message. After this MyPhoneExplorer searches in the phonebook for the matching contactname. Please take a look into the propertieswindow of the message - is the number diffrent t the number saved in the contacts ?
