Synchronize address book with Thunderbird on laptop

Hello Forum members,

I have been using MPE already since I had a SonyEricsson phone. Now I have a Fairphone6 and I use Thunderbird on my laptop. I want to synchronize the address books of the phone and Thunderbird and possibly other address lists, therefore I use the internal sync database of MPE.

I came a long way but it does not work completely:
I can synchronize the phone with the internal sync database of MPE
I have installed the MPE plugin in Thunderbird and I can see the button on the top of the window
I do NOT see Thunderbird as a candidate in the sync settings of MPE (where Outlook, Vcard and others are listed
When i push the sync button in Thunderbird, the phone screen lights up and the MPE status bar symbol in Windows indicates activity
I do not see any synchronisation happening
I can not find any place to configure the Thunderbird plugin

Can somebody help me to get further with this?

This is the point where you should start fixing the problem. MyPhoneExplorer detects throught the registry if Thunderbird is installed or not. Probably there was a issue during the setup of Thunderbird so the relevant Registry items are missing. Please run the regular Thunderbird setup file again, this should fix your problem.
