how do i get the status from my mobile phone, which is connected to my Cell phone... i need to develop a project which will detect when ever SMS has been received in my Phone... and i need to catch it...

can any one help me out... i have Serial Port ActiveX Control... i need VB Code... can any1 help me... plzzzzzzz
