Synch problem - Calendar - Android - Lightning

Running HTC EVO 4G, android 2.2. Calendar data in Thunderbird Lightning. Connection via USB. Windows 7 on PC.

Settings :
Sync Mode: sync both also tried force phone-> PC
Multi-sync: sync phonebook, sync organizer

Downloads Calendar fine from Lightning to phone, but will not capture entries in the default Android calendar and send them back to Lightning or MPE.

An entry in the MPE calendar does sync back to Lightning.

Does new events appear in MyPhoneExplorer after you disabled the sync with Lightning ?

Problem solved...
On the Android phone client of MPE in the menu section, settings, calenders to sync, it needed "PC sync" enabled. Arghhhh. The left hand doesn't seem to be able to use the same names for items, processes, etc as the right hand. It listed Exchange, PC sync, my gmail address, birthdays, holidays, but not a clue that PC sync was really Lightning.

Thanks for the prompt comeback, it got me poking and prodding the Android end of things.
