MyPhone Explorer Calendar Sync problem

Hello,
First, thank you for such great software, MPE is far better than the standard PC Suite software that came when I purchase my SE W880i. The PC suite just crashes on me most of the time.
But there is a minor problem with MPE 1.7.1 when I sync my Lotus 6.5 calendar with my W880i. I have look at the forum and it seems I hvan't seen anybody with a problem similar to mind.
It is ok in syncing "meeting" dates and times w/c was created by another person having the same time zone as mine (GMT+8 ). But when a meeting invitation w/c I have accepted in Lotus6.5 was sent by a person from another country w/ different time zone like (GMT-5), what happens is that MPE will sync on my phone on another day usaully a day earlier than the suppose meeting to start on my own timezone.
Example I have a meeting sent by a colleague in Costa Rica with timezone GMT-6, the meeting time in my timezone is suppose to be at 11:30am Jan27-Tues, while at his timezone it is at 9:30PM Jan26-Mon.
But when the meeting gets sync, MPE register the meeting in my phone as 11:30am JAN 26-MONDAY. Instead of Jan 27-Tuesday. And since this is a recurring meeting all other instances is registered as a Monday meeting.
What is more strange is that when I try to look at the details of the sync meeting using MPE, MPE shows the correct date and time equivalent to my timezone, but it was the "day" that was wrong like instead of Jan 27 as tuesday, what was check on MPE's "Recurrence Pattern Table" time table was Monday. Thus all was off already.
I hope you can help me on this... Thank you

MPE reads out the Form-Fields of the Lotus-Entry. Please check them to get deeper into the problem (rightclick calendaritem->Document properties->Fields)
If another person sends you a invitation then the original recurrence pattern gets lost, its not possible to read out the original pattern if you get the meeting sent from another person.

FJ,
Here's an example, a meeting set by a collegue from US- east coast using US Eastern Time. (9pm to 10pm US Est Time GMT-5 ). Once this meeting is sync by MPE the "Time" will be correctly converted to my GMT+8 timezone which is equivalent to 10am to 11am. But the date will not reflect the correct GMT+8 which should be Jan 27, instead it still shows Jan 26.
This is a recurring meeting, set first last Dec 15 UST est time equal to Dec 16 GMT+8.
I have listed below the content of some the fields I "thought" would be relevant to you. Thanks

FJ,
I have attached below the Flickr URL link of the snapshot of the calendar sync, I guess this is were the problem occur, if you will open the link, you can see in the "Edit Appointment" pop-up, it shows the Time as "12/16/2008 10:00am". Which is a correctly converted GMT-5 to GMT+8 .
But the problem occurs in the "Recurrence Pattern" tab .... it wrongly check the "Monday" checkbox instead of Tuesday. If we look at our 2008 calendar, 12/16/2008 would be Tuesday.
I hope this help.

I've also been having a problem syncing recurring events, and it seems to be related to this. I've got a different system (SE w890i and Rainlendar calendar). And in my case, the time zones are the same between the PC and phone (GMT-5).
If I create a weekly recurring event on the phone or in MPE on Thursday, January 29th at 18:00, it will create an entry in Rainlendar correctly. If I change the time to 19:00, the entry will update in Rainlendar correctly, except that the recurrence will change to Wednesday. If I update the entry and save it in Rainlendar, it will be correct there, but syncing with MPE changes the recurrence on the phone to Friday.
Basically, if the time of my event is after 19:00, the recurrence on the other device will offset one day from the actual day of the event. The times (19:00) when this happens might be related to my time zone, since 19:00 in my time zone (GMT-5) would be 24:00 in GMT.

Hi!
Seems I am having the same problem with MFE 1.7.5.
I have a recurrent appointment that was sent from Europe. The appointment has timezone GMT+1 and should start at 10pm on Thursday (for example). I am sitting in timezone GMT+10, so for me the meeting starts at 8am on Friday.
MFE shows the meeting as starting at 8am on THURSDAY (should show Friday).
Outlook shows this correctly, but MFE is not calculating the days correctly.
Was there any workaround/fix for this?

I don't know if i can fix this. Is it a recurring event or is it a single appointment ?
