you are great and i hope you keep up the good work on MPE

any plans for version 1.7.2 ?

a lotta people are wondering if you will change the appearence of the s/w.
(e.g. the splash screen). they say it looks kinda old & a newer refreshed splash screen would be very nice

but that's just a little suggestion . maybe you can do sth in that case

Where are thy ? Up to yet i heart not much users who want a new interface. Cause the splash-screen: What ideas you have for a new splash ?

There're several forums and communities where it's discussed about MPE

an idea for a new splash screen:
on the FJ homepage there is a pic with 3 modells of SE with a shadow
this effect (with shadow) is nowadays a nice and often seen one
big companies are using it

maybe one of your designers (i guess you know very much people for that) could experiment with it . maybe a nice designed background graphic with an border that goes to transparency (such as the splash screen of nero 9 for expample) and on the top maybe a nice font type with "MyPhoneExplorer", maybe the slogan "just enjoy!" (smaller of course) and several handy modelles with the shadow-effect.

I am sure a lot of designers would be interested in designing sth.

btw. any hints about the new version (features etc.) ?

After I read this thread, I started to quickly create an alternative splash screen for MPE with transparent background.

I never forecast when and with whichz new features a new version will come. If you follow the forum-discusions then will find some infos.

so i'm gonna search posts in which i can find any hints about the new "features" . thanks so far

my pleasure. I can understand why the original designer wants to make the splash himself --> everybody wants to be part in phantastic MyPhoneExplorer!

yes, i also think that there are good ideas in it i'm interested how long it will take 'til the original designer has a sample and of what quality it will be :S
