My P1i won't sync the phone to contacts

When trying to sync Phone with contacts get the message
"Sync could not be initialised"
-2147467263 The requested device does not support this operation.
In settings I have Phone to Phonexplorer only.

Does the sync work with the original PC-Suite ?

5 threads..no solution...
the phones does NOT synch with MPE nor SE PC Suite.
How to unfk this pls ?

There are many threads and you should read also the possible solution. On some PC's it work if you update the PC-Suite, some other users had to make a master-reset for the phone.
Its not possible for me to fix it cause the error gets created in the phone or in mRouter. i have no control about the issues from external software.

I tried really ALL. Unistallation and reinstallation of all software, drivers and hardware. Updating der FW and resetting the phone. I am at the end of my wits.
maybe my handset is broken.
habe grade mal bei der SE hotline angerufen...die konnten mit dem problem nichts anfangen und meinen es sei hardware (phone) bedingt....hahaha. Na super, sollte ohne hin ein n97 kaufen
