While my c905 is now talking to my PC (see posting re vista below) the sidebar gadget does not appear to be working. It does not notify me of incoming SMSs unless I sync the Inbox manually. If I want to send a text, I can't, because although the text appears on the notepad there appear to be no numbers or contacts in the directory. The same applies to making calls through the PC. In fact the sidebar gadget does not appear to be doing very much at all...

Are you using Vista 32bit or 64bit ? Do you get a erroressage when the gadget is loaded into the sidebar ?

I'm using Vista premium 32bit. Everything seems to be working fine except the sidebar. I have the serial port enabled but do I need to enable some other aspect of the Bluetooth setup?

No, if you add the gadget to the sidebar - oes there appear a errormessage ?

Does the following Registry-Value exist: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MyPhoneExplorer\GadgetHwnd and does it change after you removed and added the gadget ?

The line does exist and removing and replacing the gadget appears to make no difference.

Interestingly the gadget does show the battery level. It just doesn't react to incoming calls or SMSes.

Scratch that. It seems to be working fine now. Thanks.
