Screensaver stops working when

I'm running on a Notebook with Windows XP SP3 connected to a Sony W600i across Bluetooth using version 1.7.0 of MyPhoneExplorer.
I've noticed when MyPhoneExplorer is running, my computer's screen saver never kicks on. WHile I don't care about the screen saver, I do care about the computer locking the keyboard after 10 minutes so someone can't wander by and read my e-mail, etc.
Is there a way to get the screen saver working without turning off MyPhoneExplorer?
