Hello, I needed to update the SW on my mobile phone (SE W760i) and backed up everything first, including all the text messages. Everything viewable just fine in MyPhone Explorer. I successfully updated my phone software and re-synched the necessary.

I went through the message list and wanted to delete some of these. I hit the delete key and then it asks if I want to "Delete selected messages from phone". If I say no, the message stays in the list. If I say yes I get an error message saying it can't be deleted. So I am stuck. Is there a way to get rid of a message if it is not on the phone? I am using version 1.7.0.

BTW, the feature to open the message list in Word or Excel is fantastic. Good job to the developer!

Refresh your messagelist beofre. If you have oproblems again then post the logfile.

Yes, refreshing dumped everything and just showed the few new messages I had sent since the phone update. I didn't realise this view is effectively locked to the phone.

In fact I just wanted to delete a few messages from this list. Before refreshing I moved everything to the Archive. Here I could delete messages independently of the phone. This is what I wanted to do actually. So all is good.
