Hello,

I'm a new user of MFE. I've read some articles about MFE and I've decide to install it in order to synchronize my organizer (I use Mozilla Lightning as calendar application).

So I try to sync all data in my phone but I was unable to sync the contacts stored in my phone with MFE (or gmail or thunderbird). Only the contacts on the SIM will be sync.

Then I try to sync my organizer from mobile phone to lightning (and then versus gmail calendar and again versus MFE) but i receive always the same message:
"Sync could not be initialized -2147467259 Error Not Found"

Here my data:
- P990i
- USB Connection (but i try also with bluetooth connection)
- MPE-version 1.7.0
- Windows version WinXP-SP3
- firmware version R9G007CXC162037

Can someone help me?

Does the sync work with the official PC-Suite ?

No, with the PC-Suite the synchronization didn't work.

if the PC-Suite doesnt work then the problem could be raised from mRouter (a component which is used from the PC-Suite AND MyPhoneExplorer)

Did you try already to install tha latest avaiable PC-Suite ? Maybe it contains a newer version of mRouter. By the way: can you browse the filestorage of your phone with MPE ?

I try to uninstall and then install again the pc-suite but it dosen't work. The synchronization with pc suite doesn't work and even the synchronization with MFE

Also a firewall could raise this problem. Turn it of for testing (but don't forget to disconnect from internet before)

Yes, I can browse the filestorage of my phone with MPE.
I try to turn off my firewall but the pc suite doesn't synchronize my contact list. ... I try to contact the Sony Ericsson support to solve the problem with the m-Router software.
