hi,

I´m testing the C905 (new Sony Ericsson 8.1Mpixel phone with latest s/w) and when I sync it with MyPhone Explorer 1.7.0, the program crashes, want to send error report to Microsoft and shutdown it self.

No problem to find the phone with either USB or BT.

Let me know how I can report this error/send logfiles to solve it.

Please post the contents of the logfile after the crash. Its located in %appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer\Debug.txt

Just got a logfile from another user with the same problem.

Your problem is already fixed in the current beta

Last week i got the same bugreport for the G705. The problem was that the phone does support now 64KB packetsize (earlier phones 4KB). So in MyPhoneExplorer a overflow was created.

Please do a test for me:
If you are copying files with the actual phones it happens with ~200KB/s. I'm wondering how fast the filetransfer works with the new packetsizes. So please connect your phone throught USB, upload a 10MB file and stop the time for the transfer. Do the same please with download and post me the results.

Sure, I perform the test.

I installed the beta and it solves the crash, excellent!
Sync works....Though, this version don´t sync my excisting phone contacts.

Works:
Sync SIM contacts.
Add new contact, sync and get it in the phonebook.
Delete new contact, sync and get it in the phonebook.

Doesn´t work:
Get all my exsisting phone contacts from phone into MFE.

How come, any clue, known error?

Did you also tried "Download entire" (the second button in the toolbar) ? If this also not helps then send me please the logfile after you pushed this button.

Yes, tested it aswell still same problem. Though it woks at my company computer. This can only be seen at my home laptop.
Can I send any log to assit you in troubleshoot this behaviour?

Hi,
I´ve sent you 2 logs:
1) Log of Sync crash.
2) Of when Sync completes, but no contacts shows up in MyPhoneExplorer.
