Hi,

I have some problems/questions about sms backup-restore for P1i

1/ Last time (my first try), I could back up and restore the incoming sms. the timestamps of the sms in the computer achived were wrong, but when I restored them, inside the phone, the timestamp appeared to be correct. Nothing wrong, I was totally happy with it.

Today due to master reset the phone, I did the same steps, backup successfully but couldnt restore. The following windows appeared for all sms. I could only stop it by manually using the Task Manager to shut it down.



Since I dont want to lose all these texts so can you please help me find a way out? (I just need to restore these received sms, there are exactly 103 sms, nothing more)


2/ Can we back up sms from P1i and restore in others SE phones (like non-symbian ones, eg:w610, etc) with our MPE software?? I think the answer is "Yes", but just want to confirm again. Sorry if you find it annoying ....


3/ This one is a quite irrelevant, but since I dont know so hope someone may enlighten me. How could we transfer the the sms from P1i to Nokia phones? My friend told me that I can store the sms inside the sim then back up in nokia. I guess it sounds acceptable. But trying to find out a better solution. Anyone plz?

2) Yes, its no problem to upload them on another supported SonyEricsson-Phone

3) I think its not possible for Nokia-Phones
