Sync task to Thunderbird

All other syncs between my W810i, MFE and Thunderbird worked excellent in the version 1.7, thank you guys so much.

However, I can't seem to get my task created on the phone or MFE to sync with Thunderbird, even though on the settings page, I've checked the box to 'sync task' and the the sync mode is on 'force thuderbird to phone'.

So naturally, I thought it was the sync mode that's the culprit, so I've switched it to 'sync both' which didn't turn up anything on Thunderbird regardless.

I've also checked the box to prompt me for any changes made, which the pop-up did came up asking me whether to delete the task or to sync it with Thunderbird.

Creating the task on Thunderbird also didn't work when I've tried to sync it back to MPF and my W810i.

I'm using MFE 1.7.0, Thunderbird 2.0.0.16, and the add-on for MFE in Thunderbird is 0.9.54

Do you see any errors in the Java-Console after syncing ?
Which type of calendar are you using in Thunderbird to sync with MyPhoneExplorer ?

My Calendar add-on in Thunderbird is Lightning 0.9 . Thanks in advance, guys! Love your work.

Oh yeah, btw there's no error in the Java Console but there is a Thunderbird error saying, "An error occurred when writing to the calendar MyName's!".

Could it be that MFE is trying to enter tasks on my phone to 'calendar' in Lightning instead of the 'task' tab in Lightning? Plus the calendar on Lightning is actually my Google Calendar synced to it, but that's another story.

Thanks!

Tasks and Appointments are saved always in the calendar, they just get splitted in the GUI of lighning so that you see the Tasks in a seperate Tab. If you are using the Google-Provider i think its not possible to add tasks there cause Google diesn't support tasks.

Well, I guess that explains it. Let me elaborate. On my Lightning, all my calendars are synced to GCal using Google-Provider and non of them are actually localized.

Therefore initially on MFE's sync settings, I didn't check my Home calendar as my default one, which is where the sync should be taking place. So I just give it a quick right-click, and set my home calendar as default and I'm good to go now.

Thanks again guys.
