lost numbers

Help, I put all my contacts on the program to reset my phone after technical problem. When I plugged phone back in I hit download button and all my contacts have disappeared. Where are they?

Did you make a backup ?
Which version of MyPhoneExplorer did you use ?

No I didn't make a back-up, didn't think I needed to (obv I know now) and its version 1.6.4

Thats bad - up to 1.6.7 there was only a flipback inbuild if the Contactbase is empty. If you delete all contacts of your phone and if you add a contact after this then MPE will download the entire phonebook from phone. Since v1.6.7 MPE compares all items if the sync-history gets lost. I think your contacts are lost
