Issue with age identification in birthday appointments

Hi,
Found an unclear thing, possibly an issue.

Bitrhday appointments for contacts with preset birthdays are shown in the Appointments view like this: "Birthday John Smith (21)", and the birth year is shown in the column Additional.
It looks like the person's age is calculated simply as the difference between the current year and the birth year, regardless of the fact if the birthday has already happened this year or not. So looking at a person's age in brackets you can't really say if it's a coming age or an actual one. All you can say is that by end of the year the person is going to be of that age, which is not that useful.

I'm using MPE 1.7.0 and SE W880i.

BR,
Daniel

You can see the day when the event occurs. So you know exactly when this contact will reach the age. If you move the calenadr 1 year forward then you see which age will be reched on this date.

For contacts on the border of the current and next year the age shown is not their coming age but rather current age.
Thus the behaviour of the age in brackets changes depending whether a birthday happened this year or not. I think this reduces usefulness of the age hint as it still reqires figuring out contact's real age. I'd prefer it shows comig age all the time but that's me, you may think differently.

Anyway you've created a great tool, many thanks for it!

I still not understand your problem. Tried everything - the age does match ALWAYS. In which view you use the calendar ? Listview or calendarview ?

maybe it helps if you can post a screenshot with a sample.
