My phone screen has been damaged. luckly for me it still works. Unlucky I sync'ed the contacts to MPE only to find it deleted loads of the new contacts and replaced it with the old on MPE rather than adding the new to the PC

This is a major disaster as I cannot remember all it's deleted-obviously

Vain hope that someone can tell me if all is not lost.

Which version did you use ?

On versions before 1.6.7 there was a security-question if MPE loads an emty phonebook (like after damage). if the phonebook was not empty then MPE loads and overwrites the contactlist.

Since v1.6.7 MPE compares all contacts so that it never can happenj that contacts get lost.

If you have no backup or export then you have a big problem. MPE stores itself no backups.
