Run-time error '75': MyPhoneExplorer 1.6.7, 1.7

Hi,
I tried searching the forums and Google for my problem but could not find a fix. Could anyone identify how to solve it?

I installed 1.70 first and received the run-time error. Assuming it was a bug with the latest version I tried 1.6.7 but had the same problem.

I see some users have been asked to post their debug report, could someone kindly tell me where that is located so I can post it here?

The full error message:

Run-time error '75':
Path/file access error.

*Error message received when I attempt to run the program.

Win XP SP2
Java SE 6 version 7
Administrator (user)

Thanks in advance!

mostly this error appears if its not possible to create the userdata-folder for MPE.
- Start-Run-%appdata%-OK
- a explorerwindow should open, you should find there a folder called "MyPhoneExplorer" give full permissions to this folder, if it does not exist then create it.

Hi,
I had seen similar advice given to a previous user who had reported a different run-time error but similar symptoms. I had tried using the %appdata% fix, creating the MyPhoneExplorer folder as you suggested to him.

But to no avail, I still get the run-time error.

FYI, here is the full appdata path:

C:\Documents and Settings\Gary Hicks\Application Data\MyPhoneExplorer

The folder has Full permissions. The folder was not created during installation of the program.

Thanks!
Gary
