Hello,
I had no problems with previous version, but after upgrading to 1.7.0 I cannot synchronise organizer with Thunderbird anymore. The error message says "Loading entries from Thunderbird failed!" both for tasks and appointments.
Synchronisation with phone works fine.
I have upgraded Thunderbird add-on to version 0.9.5.4

The phone is K800i, connection via cable at 921600. The problem doesn't go away if I lower the connection speed.
OS i XP Pro SP3, patched up-to-date.

Some other problems I've noticed:
Phone memory (Memory status) doesn't show correctly
Power input (Monitor) not showing every time (says: No indication)
Alarm names not showing, except the first one.

Yes, it does happen, no matter if Thunderbird is already started, or MPE is starting it.
I believe there is a problem with the Thunderbird plugin. File permissions perhaps?

Hmm - but why it should happen now when the last version was working ?
Please run Thunderbird with this command:
Start->Run->thunderbird -mpe list-abooks=C:\Test.txt

Does C:\Test.txt exist after the command ?

OK, are you able to set the sync-folders for Thunderbird in MPE ?

Yes, I am.

Then please try this command:
thunderbird -mpe export-items=c:\items.txt

Here is the result:

Contacts moz-abmdbdirectory://impab.mab
Personal Address Book moz-abmdbdirectory://abook.mab
Collected Addresses moz-abmdbdirectory://history.mab

Note: when i start synchronisation, Thunderbird window gets focus on the screen, but after a while the error message pops up.

This is the wrong result, take a look at C:\items.txt and not C:\Test.txt

C:\items.txt was not created at all

Thunderbird - 2.0.0.16
Lightning - 0.8
MPE - latest

Addressbook is fine, events and tasks are not working.

I am sorry, I don't know that. Mobile phone syncing is very important for me, so I've rolled bck to previous version of MPE and TA which work fine.
If that is of big importance, I can install the latest versions of both, and then rollback again.

Does the sync work with 1.6.7 and the newest Thunderbird Addin?
And does it fail once you upgrade to 1.7?

Without error messages, I cannot begin to find the cause of your problem.

And I use the same software combination that you use without problems, so it should not be that difficult...

Yes, it works perfectly fine.

Correct. As I said, the problems begin after I upgraded to 1.7

I am out of the office now, but will be back in a couple of hours, and then I'll upgrade MPE to 1.7 again.

Just to end this thread: I have recently installed ver. 1.7.1 and the new T-bird extension.
Everything works fine now.
