Hey i own a sony ericsson W550 and i just downloaded my phone explorer and i really like it because it allowed me to save some very precious messages from my beloved which would otherwise have gotten deleted.

But the software jumbled most of the messages that were 2 sms or more long. for example half of one message (two sms long) became part of another message received previously and half of this message became part of another when it really wasnt resulting in jumbled up messages that made no sense.

Can you tell me how to fix this problem because im scared to use this application again because it is mixing and jumbling up all messages that are two sms or more long. And also is there any way to fix the jumbled up messages like edit their text so that they can be changed to what they were orignally??

Please tell me because these messages mean a lot to me

Please try it with the current beta and give feedback if its working with this version.

Just delete the ]current from the URL and you'll be fine.

sorry im not much of a computer guy but how exactly do you delete that? and yes ill try the beta version but will this fix the jumbled up messages to their previous correct condition?

As you can see FJ has now fixed the link so no need to delete anything.

I'm having this problem with MyPhoneExplorer at the moment. Parts of my messages are missing or jumbled up.
Any ideas?

which version do you use ?

Version 1.7.2 I think

In v1.7.2 i did everything that Messages are NOT mixed up. If it still happens then cause some mobile phones (f.e. Nokia) always send the same random Message-ID for Multipart messages. This makes it impossible to make a clear sort.
