i have vista Home Premuime, and form time to another MPE hangs and not responding at all in the windows tray down there (No Right Click- Not Opening the application not even Ending MPE task from Task Manager)
so it is totally hanging, what i do to resolve it is to put the laptop into standby, and wake it up again, then it will work, but hell, i can not do this every time i want to use MPE,

does that has anything to do with MPE gadget with Windows Slide?

It doesn't have to do something with the gadget.
If you cannot kill the process in Taskmanager then the problem comes from a driver. If you use Bluetooth: Select "Disable automatic reconnect" in the settings, if you are using the USB-Cable then it should help to update the drivers for your phone.
