I love this software so much that I am due an upgrade on my contract and will be purchasing another Sony Ericsson. However I am stuck for which one to choose. I am after one with a good camera and would like to use the internet. I have heard that the K850i is a good one for the camera.
Anyone any ideas please? |

As far as you probably know MyPhoneExplorer works with nearly all SonyEricsson-phones except the symbian-based ones. It works also perfectly with the k850.
The camera of the K850 is really great but about the functions of using internet i can't tell you anything... |

I have a K850 and the camera is very good. As for using the internet, the experience is never going to be brilliant unless you have a touch screen. Installing Opera makes it much better, but it's still too cumbersome to really be practical for more than a quick search (say, to find cinema listings or a local restaurant, or just to quickly Google something to prove a point!)
I really fancy the G900 for my next phone. It's touch screen, great camera and loads of other cool features, but it's Symbian-based, so won't work with the current version of MPE

I will wait until July I think and see if any better phones come out. The one thing I don't want to do is lose MPE unless I really have to... |

Symbian-support is in progress, but nobody knows when it will be fully supported and stable. |

At the current view i know that i cannot support all features for Symbian and they will make more problems. The basic features like contacts/organizer/sms/filetransfer will work but some cool nice-to-haves will not work. This is what i know |

Does MPE support any other phones other than Sony Ericsson? |

Hi!
Lovely software u have created! I just bought the G900 and hoped to use MPE to transfer my contacts from the old W300i to my new phone and as I ran in to trouble I found this thread clearly telling me why...
Do you have any ideas as to when basic symbian functions will be released?
Being a software developer myself, I appreciate the hard work behind applications such as this and if there is anything I can do to help you out, please let me know! |

Luminai, if you still have W300, then just send all contacts through BT from one phone to another, without any external software.
Why complicate something with applications, when you have that already in your phone? |
