Hello,
This is my first message, still, I believe no-one mentioned my problem before (at last searching didn't give me any decent result).
I recorded some voice messages in school*. Now in MyPhoneExplorer I don't see those messages. I see them located in "Drafts" when looking at my phone but can't see any of those in "Drafts" of MyPhoneExplorer. Still I can see some other messages that doesn't include sounds.
In my SE k750i menus there's option to copy Drafts' message into "Saved messages" folder, which I did and nothing changes. I can't see my voice messages in "Saved" folder of MyPhoneExplorer.
*I recorded those voice messages by accident. I meant to use "normal" recorder, which would create Recording.amr file in my phone's folder "Sounds" - from where I can easly download it like any other sound file. Instead I recorded a message and it created a draft message in "Drafts". I need to download it, though.
Thanks in advance,
Matthew
P.s.
I used MyPhoneExplorer for long time - it's not a problem with configuration and so on. |

So there's no way... How come? Voice messages are phisically written somewhere in momory of the phone, so why there's no software to obtain those?
Any other way to make it downloadable? Tell me, will I be able to save Recording.amr from message if I send it to myself? I can save picture from received MMS but those voice messages are big - about 10Mb - sending it would be a suicide for my wallet but still, if it helps I'll do that. Just have to be sure. So?
Please, help.
P.s.
Maybe I can e-mail those? Will I be able to save "Recording.amr" files to my PC then?
P.s.2
I know those questions aren't suitable for MyPhoneExplorer forum anymore but I'm desperate and begging for help. |

Normally you can open incoming MMS in the phone and then you can save the "attachment" as file to the phone-memory. It would be a try to send the MMS to yourself, then save the file to memory and then you can read it throught the filebrowser of MyPhoneExplorer. |

I tried many times and didn't succeed to send any of those messages to myself nor anyone else.
First my phone tells me the message might be to big for receiver to open. Then it tries to send it several times (I figured by icon of sending mms which appears several times on the main screen's top) and finally it tells me it didn't.
I have no problem with other voice messages (smaller). Those are simply to big. Any other idea?
Where can I find information on about why there's no software to copy/download MMS from my phone? (I'm just being curious)
Thanks for Your help anyway. |

Maybe you can send it via email? Receive it on a pc and you'll have no problem. The question is if the phone / your provider allows such a big email. (i don't know how big it is!?)

SonyEricsson just has made no posibility in the API to access MMS. Maybe you can find some information on the sonyericsson-website. |

Those are over 10Mb each. And my operatar allows only 6Mb attachment. I'm doomed.
P.s.
I've found information about API and no MMS coverage, indeed... |

matthew, do like FJ said, but don't edit it. When you have highlighted this message in Drafts list, do fallowing things:
- click More > View
- stop the playback
- highlight your voice record (sound file), dots around this file will appear
- click Sound > Save sound
- edit it's name if you have to and click OK.
Then you can simply download it from phone's memory like any other file. |

That's the solution!!! When I don't edit it works perfectly - I can save a file!
- More > Play > Stop
- then select a file Recording.amr
- Sound > Save sound
Thank you, Zayoos. Cheers . |
