I´ve used My Phone Explorer with my last phone, an W800i and I think that is a wonderfull program. But rigth now I´m using an P990i and, as you abviously know, it is not full working with my phone. The answer is: Are you going to make your program ful compatible with symbian based cell phones.

FJ is working hard on this so in future MPE will (hopefully) be full compatible with symbians. But it needs still a lot of time.

i am also using P990i and there are some issues arise during the sync. It doesn't works on symbian OS and has a problem with OBEX communication.

Is there a timeline for the MPE to work on the Sybian OS.

Hi i have downloaded the latest version of MyPhoneExplorer 1.6.7
I am using a SONY ERICSSON P1i when i try to syncronise the phone it tels me "Obex Protocol could not be initialized! Obex Error:ERROR" only my messages are syncronised .But if i sync the sim card i can read my sim card tel numbers. On the Organizer tab if i click on that the program closes and i get "error signature modname msvbvm60.dll , Modver 6.0.97.82 Offset 0005d567 .I have tried bluetooth and usb connections but i get the same results Also on the monitor tab it gives me a picture of the phone. The battery give me 70% but none of the other indications The phone side temp and signal no indication.If i try to connect to FilesTab the following error comes up "Sony Ericsson P1i [357033016342040] is not connected to SCOM!] This is some of the problems i encounterd on the P1i

How will MPE work with coming SE phones with windows mobile as os?
First SE phone (X1) with win mobile will be on market later this year..

There are no plans to support the X1

Don't push FJ on supporting new systems.

He's currently working very hard to make MPE compatible with Symbian, which he for a very long time said he "would never support".

Let him finish his work with Symbian before pestering him with more requests.

for windows mobile phones there are many other progs to use. Use Active Sync and things like that!
