Just loaded 1.6.0.7.
DEP won't allow Sync Clock via the Internet now. It returns: -

Error signature
EventType : BEX P1 : MyPhoneExplorer.exe P2 : 1.6.0.7 P3 : 4809ec91
P4 : unknown P5 : 0.0.0.0 P6 : 00000000 P7 : 02feb860
P8 : c0000005 P9 : 00000008

Fails when trying to connect to any of the default internet clocks: - pool.ftp.org; time.window.com; time.nist.gov; ptbtime1.ptb.de or time.vbs.at.

If I sync to the PC it works OK

Don't intend to turn of Data Exception Protection so any other suggestions? I'll sync to PC for now...

Thanks

You could make an exception in DEP for MyPhoneExplorer.

Program instantly crashes when you try to synchronize with atomic clock. Program causes crash in WINDOW_SOCKET when trying to write to a memory location.

I don't intend to make an exception in DEP for MPE as it's there for a reason and while I doubt a virus has crept in to your fantastic program I still don't want to risk opening up my PC to possible memory problems - especially as it didn't happen in previous versions and other users are having the same problem.
Quite happy to stick to sync'ing with my PC clock for now but would be useful if you could fix this in your next release.
Thanks.

In the next major-release i have to integrate a new library: MS Winsock (used for Symbian). In this Update i will go away from the current connection in time-sync to MS Winsock. Up to this time i think its not needed to search the problem.

PS.: There are many things in Microsoft where you will find no sense why they there. For me is DEP a senselesss feature, the most viruses are not blocked by this feature.
