Hi, I'm new to this program but its really amazing, and I hate to sound like a complainer or anything but I've noticed something about the program

I've been using the default sony ericsson software for getting my photos across to my computer which is a long process. I've swapped to using MPE, and copying the photos over to the same directory i was using as the default program (forgot the name!)

With me so far? Well what happens now is the photos are transferred into the same directory, but as copies, with the default filename and then (1) after, example DSC00738 (1).jpg. When I looked closer I realised it was doing this because those files already existed in the directory.

So is the program knowingly transferring duplicate files over? and why? And if i remove these copies, will it only try to transfer them again, or will it start from where it left off? (e.g. if i've copied DSC00740.jpg over, then again using MPE [creating DSC00740 (1).jpg], and I delete it, will it try to copy it over again the next time?)

Sorry if this was explained badly and I'd be happy to help clarify any points i messed up conveying

My phone is a K850i, and my computer is Windows XP 32Bit Home.

MyPhoneExplorer checks the size of the file - did you edit the photo on your PC ?

Would there be anyway to make it check for only the filename or is that a silly idea?

Its not a silly idea but its senseless cause its possible that two diffrent photos have the same filename (on phonestorage and memorystick)
