Not sure if this is due to MPE or not, but would be interested to hear opinions/ideas.
Last night, when trying to send an SMS, my phone just said "Sending Failed" almost without trying. Obviously, I restarted the phone and tried all the usual things, but then I noticed I couldn't open my inbox. Or my sent items. Or drafts. The error on screen was simply "Operation Failed".
This is the second time this has happened and the only way to solve it is a master reset, as I can't even access the messages from the memory manager.
I have seen posts on here that talk about the use of MPE resulting in phantom messages - that is, memory being used even though there are no messages occupying it. Could it be that this is confusing the phone?
Any ideas how I might go about preventing it in the future?
FYI, I have a K850, so it's dynamic memory.

FYI, I had not been using MPE for a while and I still got the same error last weekend. Had to do another master reset.
This proves it's not MPE that's at fault, but the K850 instead.
I have now updated the firmware vie on-line update, so will see how it fares. Otherwise, it's a bug report to SE, I think!

Great I have a similar problem and own a K850....
It used to send SMS steadily but now MPE is stuck and after a long timeout a dialog is shown with send failed. Behind the scene the message is really sent (and received) ...... I've tried to search ports again baud rate etc. but still the same problem.
The logfile: please note I have hidden the IMEI and receiver's phone number with som 'xxxxx'

MyPhoneExplorer waits 30 seconds for an answer from the phone. If MPE gets no answer he throws an error. It happens also with "Stable connection" ? |

The problem doesn't occur with bluetooth connection, but only with serial cable.... |

If you want to use USB-Cable, you can try to re-install the drivers... |
