i have problem with sync my k800 with mozilla lightning,
some events created [or changed] in k800i are NOT visible in lightning,

version MPE: 1.6.6
version Lightning: 0.7
version MPE mozilla plugin: 0.9.18

i have tried to find out the solution, but not successfully

I downloaded and installed it, i am testing it right now, it seems to be ok for the present,
i will let you know after few days of testing

So i find out, there are still some problems with sync,

when i create new appointment in k800i a sync with lightning, everythings seems to be ok,

1) BUT when i reschedule this appointment in k800 a sync again (for example from 10th to 20th February), lightning doesn't find this change a makes nothing..
2) when i create new appointment in k800i, lightning sometimes doesn't find it too...
so it is not useable for me at this moment...

3) when i create app in lightning, everythigs OK
4) when i delete app in k880i or in lightning, everythigs OK

be sure, i have configured sync between k800i + lightning like Both sync..

i have installed some new updates:
- version MPE: 1.6.6 + installed DebugUpdate.exe (that you consult me)
- version Lightning: 0.7 (thunderbird build 2007102304)
- version MPE mozilla plugin: 0.9.20
- SonyEricsson k800i firmware version: CXC1250210 R1CF001 060704

Are those events visible in MyPhoneExplorer ?

Yes, all appointmens in k800i are visible in MPE.
maybe it could be the problem of mpe lightning plugin or my firmware of k800i, hard to find out...

Iv the event is correct in MyphoneExplorer then it must be a bug between MyPhoneExplorer-Plugin-Lightning. In this case its sure that it has nothing to do with your phone. If you activate the confirmationwindow (its activated by default) - do you see that MyphoneExplorer has detected diffrences ?

Which type of calendar do you use in lightning ? Is it a local normal calendarfile or Google or webdav ?

i agree, confirmation window is activated by default,
i am using just Lightning on localhost, no WebDav, no GoogleCal. , i have just one local profil; name:xx address:moz-profile-calendar://?id=2 and it is not read only

1) sometimes the changes are find, display in confirmation window and then they are correctly copied into lightning, that is ok
2) but sometimes are the changes find NOT,nothing is displayed and sure then is nothing to copy into lightning

i know, sorry, i am not able to tell you, on which conditions it depends,
because i really do not know it now, but i will have no access to internet in next 4 days, so i will try some possibilities of rescheduling app, or deleting reschedule or creating new app and sync these cases...and let you know the exact solution and concrete conditions, on which there was a problem with sync.

Hi,i am here again, first of all i am really sorry for my time delay..

I find out some interesting things and they all have the same problems:
Lightning doesnt recognize my app. created in k800i,
So here is the description of my testing:

1) i created new app. in k800 at 2 am in the evening, when i try to sync my k800 with lightning after approximately 16 hours (then the time of sync is something about 6 p.m.), this app is not found
2) rescheduling older app in k800, which was created in k800 in the past = the same problem like 1)

3) creating and rescheduling app in k800 and sync with lightning after 5,30,90 minut,everythings OK

4) When i delete some app. in k800 and sync, everythings OK, but after approximately 8 - 10 days some of them are offered by Lightning to create again in k800...i dont understand..

What to do to solve 1, 2 =>

I click on "Synchronize" icon in thunderbird, some app. still not found=> ? = > First of all i have to open mpe (in system tray, there is i blue circle icon of Mpe), choose calendar on the left side and click on the top on blue narrow - "reload data again"===> when i click AGAIN on "Synchronize" icon in thunderbird, THEN the lightning is able to find all new/reschedule/delete apps... so the special icon in the Thunderbird "Synchronize" is unusable for me, because doesnt work on the first click...

it seems to be the best things to sync just with icon in MPE ("Synchronize")
( i mean there is some bug in mpe extension to Lightning..)

What to do to solve 4 =>

One important question: If Lightning doesn't see the new appointment from the phone - is it displayed in MyPhoneExplorer after the sync ?

after sync no, but when i reload data from the phone direct in mpe (by xxx on the blue narrow), then the apps are visible in mpe calendar

OK - the next time you see this problem please send me the logfile via mail. In your case it has directly nothing to do with Sunbird or the Plugin

I took a look at your screenshots and i understand the "story". In this special case the behavior is OK - sorry i didnt tell it to you. On a normal sync MyPhoneExplorer remembers which items were deleted in MyPhoneExplorer or on the phone and so it gives the priority to delete the event in Thunderbird. If you download the whole calendar then MyPhoneExplorer doesn't remember which items were deleted the last time.

The basic problem was another story. If i'm right then you added new items to phone and they didn't appear in MyPhoneExplorer and Thunderbird. This is the case where the bug could be between the phone and MyPhoneExplorer and this is the thing i try to fix. So i think it would be the best to use the normal sync-button (from TB or directly in MyPhoneExplorer) in future and after you recognise that MyPhoneExplorer didn't noticed a new item from phone then send me the debug.txt-file. Its absolutly important that you send me the file directly after you notice it. Later syncs does not help cause MyPhoneExplorer always load a info-file about the changes since the last sync.

Ok, i understand, just give me some days to recognise it.
