outlook sync / older software versions

hi there,
I've been using phone explorer for a long time now in combination with my desktop which runs on vista. Everything works fine with version 1.6.1.
now I have downloaded version 1.6.4 on my new laptop - also a vista - but I can't seem to sync anymore with outlook, I simply can't select outlook ast the source to sync with in phone explorer setting. I can't find any older version of the software on the site. Could it be that it has to do with the software version? Thanks for feedback
