MPE Problem with deleting messages

Hi, I'm having a problem after the latest update to my Samsung Galaxy A15 smartphone. I can't delete messages from my phone using MPE from my computer. I have version mpeclient_1.0.48.apk installed specifically on my phone, which allowed this. This is very convenient for the user. This feature worked until January 26, 2026. After the update, it no longer works. I also can't set MPE as the default app on my phone. Where can I find the settings to restore the message deletion feature and replace the Samsung messaging app with MPE? Nothing works.

Do the following on your phone:
Go to the MPE client app info => 3-dot menu (top right) => Enable "Allow restricted settings".
Then it should work again Wink

I don't have those dots in the app info. I also searched for "Allow restricted settings" after the entire sentence, and I don't see them. I can't send a photo... can I send it by email?
When I select MPE as the default app, the phone forces me to go back to the Samsung messaging app. I hate it! My phone won't let me use MPE as the default app.
Please help, I'm not a programmer, just a simple user, and there are so many options. I've been using MPE since 2014; it's the best in the world!
