Hi, I have Samsung Galaxy S4 Ultra and I noticed a recent (some months) problem synchronizing Thunderbird Calendar.
The problem was not present in past, so I have no idea what happened.
When synchronizing Thunderbird Calendar, all new items or modified items present on Thunderbird Calendar, synchronized in correct way on Mobile phone calendar.
The opposite is not working. I mean all new or modified items on mobile pone Caledar,, even if result present on the synchronizing list, never updated on Thunderbird Calendar. When start synchronizing, apparently it seems working, but in fact, if there are only new or modified items on mobile phone, the bar start and stop immediately (without to join end of the line) and verifying on thunderbird calendar, nothing updated. If I repeat he synchronizing, the item present on mobile and not present on Thunderbird calendar, are present again in the list, and I need to start again the synchronizing request, with not any result. I need to manual update Thunderbird calendar, and after with synchronize again, the new item on Thunderbird Calendar result added in more as new item on Mobile Calendar as duplicate one. If I start again synchronizing, result always present the old item, now duplicated, to synchronize.... but with any success in any case.
Have you an idea about the problem?
Do you need log file to evaluate?

One important information you should add is: What about the items shown in the calendar of th MPE PC program - what is their synchronization behaviour ?
And another question icke1954 will ask is which calendars are enabled in the settings ? |

The problem you described occurs when you use Google Calendar. On Samsung phones, for example, you need to enable "Calendar" sync under Settings => Accounts and backup => Manage accounts => Google => Sync account.
If possible, you should use a local calendar, as these problems don't occur with a local calendar. You can easily create one on your phone via the MPE client settings => Manage local calendars. |

I tried in any way using your reference to Google Calendar.
I tried to remove sync with google calendar too.
I verified and there is only one local calendar present in the list.
Nothing changed.
When added new event on mobile calendar, it seems not syncrhronized (the new event is present in sunchronizing list, but nothing happen on Thnderbird calendar).
If I try aging to synchrnize, the event is present again on the list, but the requst is to delete it from mobile calendar. Replig yes, event delete from mobile calendar. |

Thanks for the info!
The calendar in Thunderbird might be write-protected; if so, you should remove this protection. Otherwise, please create a new calendar in Thunderbird and only include that one in the sync. If that works, is there something wrong with the other calendar? |
