Since one week, when I synchronize MPE, a contact, always the same one, is selected to be synchronized alternatively for a change in Outlook then the next time on my mobile and so on. But no change was made on both sides for this contact. How come ?

MyPhoneExplorer does always compare all fields of all contacts. It seems that MyPhoneExplorer was not possible to set all fields of a contact. You can run MyPhoneExplorer in debugmode ( Win-Key+R -> myphoneexplorer debug -> OK ) then there is a button which will show you which field did cause the diffrence. You can send me also the logfile after sync via email: Menu-File-Settings-Show logfile

How do I do ?

Then the button Compare ... is displayed in the confirmation window

Hi.
I have now the same problem.
The number of syncs of contacts day after day becomes bigger without a reason.
Actually I see 1476, but I’ve modified only a few.
And how you can see from the screenshot I don’t find the “compare” button.
I’ve 3825 contacts, while I’ve 3837 in Outlook and 3846 in my phone

looking in the debug.txt I can find a long list of errors like:

Did you start MPE in debug mode (To be recognized by the additional menu item 'Tools' ) ?

yes. I did.
initially not, but after I wrote my message, I recognize my fault, and I did it.

So should I send an email with log file and the screenshot of the compare windows?

I've got no answer yet. ok.
Anyway:
may be deleting the index(*) could work? or removing the device from the program? (uninstall and reinstall MPE?)
I could try on my own.

FJ answered me incouraging me to installa a beta on the pc and a beta on the smartphone.
After some days I can say it works.

BUT, I never install Betas of any type. Never in my life.
Here I've done that...
Because I never want to fall in troubles with my precious data or security.
So, I hope the Beta will come a stable one soon.

remarks:
till now this is the only sync program that gave me no troubles. chapeau.
In an incredible way, programs of the manufacturer of the smartphone failed corrupting data, cancelling data, changing data... HTC, Sony, LG, and all the others (!) I tried.

The beta is called beta because it reflects the current developing stage, but its very stable. I think its even more stable the the official build because there are already alot of bugs fixed which are currently in the stable release

At this point a pop windows appears time by time with an error message, (unfortunately I don't understand a thingh of german language) so I post here the screenshots.
That happens only whit the control device screen open.
Then, if I click "si" it brings me to the second picture. If I click "no" it brings me back, sometimes keeping working, sometimes locking the program.
oops, I find no way to post an image. sorry it seems it requires to have the picture on a server. really?)

(btw, it would be great having another zoom chance between 100% and 40%)
