Can no longer sync phone to app. Will not connect to phone.

After using MPE for over 10 years, I cannot sync any more. Cannot connect to the phone.
I have updated the program on desktop and on phone. Deleted both and installed newest versions.
Using Motorola G 5g phone since 2022 and it has worked until recently.
Using Windows 10 on desktop.
Have spent several hours trying all the different settings on phone and desktop to sync by WiFi, Bluetooth, USB cable, Fixed IP address and autodetect. Does not even recognize connection to USB cable.
Restarted phone and computer multiple times. Restarted router.
What can I do?
Can I go back to previous versions that worked?
How would I do that?
