Import SMS question

Hi, thanks for this wonderful program!
I am trying to import some SMS that I have saved from my old Nokia phone into my new SE W580i, using My Phone Explorer.
I thought I could do it via csv files: export the SMS data in a csv file, re-arrange it somehow to fit the format of MPE and import it. Unfortunately, I realize that MPE requires the PDU-Coding of each message in order to import it, which is not available in the exported file.
Is this correct? Is the PDU-Coding really needed? Is there any way to import messages without their PDU-Code? If not, could I produce the PDU code somehow (using some kind of batch processing or software -- I have a lot of messages!). Could such a feature be provided in a future version of the program?
