I got a notice today that Verizon is discontinuing Messenger+ on my Verizon cell phone next month, November 2024 and is advising users to switch to Google for a messenger.
I am reluctant to use any Google products that will be keeping track of my messages.
But most importantly I want to know if there are any alternative SMS messengers that will work with MyPhoneExplorer. I don't want to lose that! Sometimes at home I use the SMS panel inside of MyPhoneExplorer desktop, such an easy way to text. Your whole product is superb.
Can you give me any advice? I am looking at a highly recommended Textra SMS but I have no idea how this would work with MyPhoneExplorer.
Yes, I did just download all my messages in MyPhoneExplorer and saved them. Thank you, Patrice
Since the SMS database on the phone is system wide it should be no problem to use alternative SMS apps on the phone.
