Hi FJ,
I recently saw a problem in MPE 1.6.3. A SMS with special message
[img]☆。★。☆。★
。☆。*。☆。
★。＼｜／。★
* Happy Diwali
★。／｜＼。★
。☆。*。☆。
*。★。*☆
To you and your family.[/img]
is being displayed on MPE SMS details as
[img]??????????*?????\|/??*%20Happy%20%20Diwali%20??/|\?????*???*???*?%20%20To%20you%20and%20your%20family.[/img]
whereas it looks correct on my K850i.
Can you please help, is it due to some settings

The message contains Unicode-Charcters
MyPhoenExplorer desn't support full Unicode-Display

FJ Thanks for the reply...would the new version of MPE support full unicode support [also if MPE doesn't supports then how come the SMS list window shows the "stars" correctly even though they are aligned in single line], this reminds me to ask would be coming with a new version soon as I read in one of the posts that K850i image would be added in the new version of MPE.

No, its a general technical problem with the textboxes.
But i made it possible that the yellow tooltip in the List is also Unicode-compatible.

K850-Pic for Monitor-Section will be also added

Thanks for the prompt reply FJ, but the yellow tip box also shows the unicode characters as "?".
I installed the Sony PC Suite that came with K850i and in its list cum details window [i.e. list on top and details of the highlighted SMS below] the characters displayed are correct.

The Tips are Unicode-compatible since v1.6.4 - i released this version yesterday

Yes the tips shows the correct SMS in unicode chars with 1.6.4. Thanks once again for a great software and better still a great attitude towards the users of MPE.

PS: my primary reason for sticking to SE phones is ease of MPE. So FJ in turn you should be rewarded by SE for maintaining & increasing their sales
