Hello.
File synchronization takes a long time.
Admittedly, I have quite a lot to synchronize: 2,220 files and 504 folders (3.31 GB). But I think that's the fate of all users who make use of their smartphone's capabilities.

MPE seems to compare all files.
I don't see an option to limit the comparison of modification dates only to files that have been modified, which would take a lot less time.

This exists for :
Sync photos (in Advanced 2)
Sync only new photos

Sync->Events and tasks->Sync events
Compare only changed events (faster)

Is there such an option for files that I wouldn't have detected, or is this an implementation to be planned?

No, fortunately it's definitely not.

Why is it necessary to constantly check so many files?
And if there is a reason, how do you think it should work?

I'm sorry I didn't reply, but I didn't receive a notification corresponding to your message.
I was extremely disappointed by icke1954's reply, which seemed to me to be brut and from someone who probably only sees the point of an smartphone in the use of telephone functions, photography, chat and futile applications.
I've owned a handheld computer since 1991 (Psion at that time, then various HP iPaqs, and finally various smartphones) and I routinely use many files in roaming use, making the most of the possibilities of these devices.

Since I installed MPE version 2.2, file synchronization is very fast: for example, it takes less than thirty seconds to check all my files and update the 20 or 30 new, deleted or modified files since the previous synchronization.
So that's excellent, and I was just about to send you a message congratulating you on this drastic improvement, at the same time as I went to the forum to add a comment to my RCS topic (https://www.fjsoft.at/forum/viewtopic.php?t=38604&highlight=).

Before 2.2 upgrade, the update was rapid, but the file checking was very slow.

Is it still useful for me to send you a logfile from before I upgraded to version 2.2?

Fortunately, FJ has found a method to drastically speed up the reading process!
Unfortunately, I focused too much on your comparisons.
