Hi everybody,
I bought a SE k800i a couple a weeks ago and I find your program very useful for sync my google calendar; the phone had an old firmware version but I haven't problem whith sync.
Yesterday I decided to update it but unfortunately with the new one I can't do the sync. Every time that MPE try to write or delete something in the phone it shut down and goes to "transfer file" mode and the program give an error msg saying "unable to connect to phone".
everything else goes all right; I can sync my contacts, my sms or files. Just the calendar give me the problem.

My new firmware version is R1JE001

could you help me?

Maybe a bug in the new firmware. Did you already try to restart the phone ? (With taking out the battery for 2 minutes) ?

Yes, I just tried it but the phone gives the same problem.
I also have problem synchronizing phone with Outlook using SE's PC Suite.

So the problem is a firmware bug and I can't do anything for it...is this right?
If you know, cold you tell me the last firmware version that hadn't this bug. I could try tu put it in my phone although I'm not so expert in flashing phone's.

thank you very much for your help

Please not: I don't think its a general bug of your firmware. If it would be so then i had get much more "bug reports" cause of this. Maybe a Master-Reset helps also. But be aware of loosing data.

ah, ok. If I may loose my contacts isn't a problem because I have the backup in MPE.
What else may I loose?

With a full master-reset you will loose everything.
- SMS, MMS
- Tasks, Events, Notes
- Contacts
- INternet-Settings (most providers can send you the settings via SMS)

well, ok...everything isn't a problem. I can sync later the contact's of MPE, can't I?
Anyway, I'll first try a master reset.

Of course you'll be able to sync the contacts. But please make before a full backup (Menu-Extras-Create Backup)
