Contacts Sync

Hi,

Concerning MPE-desktop-app v2.1 and Android-MPE v3.6

Since many years all my contacts are stored / maintained in Outlook and synced with MPE-desktop-app.
They have always been available on the MPE-desktop-app under "Contacts / Local Phone Account (Phone)".

But a new contact I added in Outlook, is now shown under "Contacts / Phone" in the MPE-desktop-app. That is the only contact in there.
That contact is NOT visible under "Contacts / Local Phone Account (Phone)".
That contact is synced (and available) to my phone.

Why is that contact now grouped in the MPE-desktop-app differently ?

Which contact accounts are activated under MPE-Client => Settings => contact-accounts to sync?

"Phone" is selected, my gmail-account not.
Configuration is exactly the same with all my other phones.
Disabling both "Phone" and "gmail" is not possible --> both get selected automatically
I do not want to sync the gmail-account

But when I play with the selected accounts, I sometimes get a warning "Your Phone has no local contact account".

Please uninstall the MPE client and reinstall it. Maybe that help :?

Otherwise install MyLocalAccount

After installation, the account must also be activated: Mobile phone => Settings = Accounts = Add

I tried removing MPE Client, deleting all Contacts on the phone (all accounts), reinstalling MPE Client and forcing a one direction sync --> doesn't solve the issue.

MyLocalAccount seems to be the best solution and now everything is identical for all Android-versions and choosen language.
