I received a new phone. The old phone no longer powers on. How do I get my archived messages from old profile to new profile? I am no longer able to back up my archived messages as MPE crashes.

If MyPhoneExplorer crashes then please install the current beta: https://www.fjsoft.at/files/MyPhoneExpl ... Update.exe

If you want to restore the archived messages then you have to got this way:
- export the messages from the old profile to a *.vmg File (rightclick->Import/Export->...
- install on your new phone the unofficial MyPhoneExplorer Client 1.0.48: https://www.fjsoft.at/files/mpeclient_1.0.48.apk
- connect MyPhoneExplorer with the new phone
- import the messages to the sms archive and from there you can upload them to the phone

I clicked the beta file and after it installs it asks to open the change log. I say yes. When I open MPE, it does not appear to look any different and it still crashes.

1 - How do I open the beta program on the PC?
2 - How do I know I am in the beta program?

You probably did everything right?!

When exactly does MPE crash?

Anytime I go to back up a large number of messages.

I am not exactly sure what I am looking for it to say but it says Version: 2.0 - nightly 10/6/2023 9:10:28 AM.

I mentioned in the above post that when I install it asks me to open the change log and that's about it.

You should save the messages via export, have you done that?

Please take another close look at FJ's instructions:
(I added something to it)

1. SMS => Filter: enter a point
2. CTRL + A (all mark)
3. Export the messages from the old profile to a *.vmg File (rightclick->Import/Export->...
2. Install on your new phone the unofficial MyPhoneExplorer Client 1.0.48: https://www.fjsoft.at/files/mpeclient_1.0.48.apk
3. Connect MyPhoneExplorer with the new phone
4. Import the messages to the sms archive and from there you can upload them to the phone (rightclick => Copy to phone)

- Please launch MyPhoneExplorer in debugmode: Win-Key+R -> myphoneexplorer debug -> OK
- Then try to vcreate a backup to reproduce the crash
- after the crash and BEFORE the next launch please send me the logfile of MyPhoneExplorer via email with a link to this thread: Win-Key + R -> %appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer -> OK
The file is called Debug.txt
