When creating a new contact in MPE, the required fields are filled in: First name, Last name, phone number, mail,...
When you click OK, then sync - a new contact appears in the list, but WITHOUT a phone.
I tried to add and save several times. contact phone number. It is NOT SAVED after synchronization. An unsaved contact is exported with a phone number. Sample .vcf can be sent to mail

I enter the number in the phone itself (Mi8),
uploaded contacts to the MPE from the phone.

Copied the contact and pasted it into another (Mi9).
Inserted contact (Mi9) is WITHOUT number

If you open old contact for editing in MPE, it also lose phone number.
Now I making a backup to save about 4,000 contacts...

Which contact account is activate under Phone => MPE-Client => Settings => contact-accounts to sync ?

Install MyLocalAccount
After installation, the account must also be activated: Phone => Settings => Accounts = Add
Phone => MPE-Client => Settings => contact-accounts to sync activate only MyLocalAccount
