Hello,
I find very usefull this new QR Code function but anytime I use it, I get a message in a pop up window saying that my smartphone is not connected to the same WLAN network than my PC. I am asked to select the network on my smartphone.
But in fact, I am always on the same network. When I click on OK to close this pop up window, then most of the times it connects, sometimes I have to try again

MyPhoneExplorer compares the subnet of the IP-addresses:
PC: 192.168.0.22 , Phone 192.168.0.145 -> OK
PC: 192.169.1.55 , Phone 192.168.0.145 -> NOT OK
What is the IP-Address of the phone and of the PC in your environment? |

Hello
PC 192.168.1.13
Phone 192.168.1.15
The IP adresses of all my devices at home are connected to 192.168.1.xx
I have 2 different networks one on 2 Ghz and one on 5 GHz.
They have a distinct name like "name" and "name_5GHz"
It can happen even when they are both connected the same network "name" or "name_5GHz"
By the way, do you compare the names of networks or only the subnet ?
Can the phone be connected to "name_5GHz" and the PC to "name" and vice versa ? It seems it can
Thanks again |

Please install the current beta: https://www.fjsoft.at/files/MyPhoneExplorer_DebugUpdate.exe
As soon as you see the window with the wrong subnet please post the logfile.

Thank you
If I understood well, there cannot be wrong subnet on my network. All IP adresses begin with 192.168.1.
Is the subnet the only thing you compare ? Can the networks themselves have different names, lime mine with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz ?
Thank |

2.4GHz or 5Ghz should be no diffrence. MyPhoneExplorer compares only the Ips.
But maybe there is a bug in MyPhoneExplorer or MyPhoneExplorer is not able to determinate the own IP address correct. Please follow the instructions above. In the logfile i can see which IP is detected and compared. |
